The Cottage

The Golden Lion Inn Cottage is a one bedroom cottage that sleeps 2 people. However, it can sleep 4 people using the futon in the main living room. 

There is a galley style kitchen, open plan sitting room and dining area. The kitchen has everything you need, full working oven and hob, fridge with small freezer compartment, plenty of cutlery, crockery and glassware you would need. We have also provided tea-towels, bin bags and cleaning provisions. There is a coffee machine and a cafetiere for those sleepy mornings and a fully working log stove to keep you cosy warm.

Upstairs is one bedroom with adjoining bathroom. The king size bed is fully dressed in cosy bedding ready to invite you in after a long day out and about visiting the local attractions. There is a large mirrored wardrobe to hang you clothes in and a utility cupboard with ironing board and iron.

There is private parking for one car. No garden, but you can use the pub gardens or sit by the lake

The cottage is located, attached on the side of the pub on the left. You won’t be disappointed.

Camping

We have 20 pitches all with electric hook up. 14 of which are Hardstanding and are open all year round. We have been upgrading the pitches to 16amp this year to enable a good quality experience.

All Pitches come with free Wi-Fi and the use of washing machine, tumble drier, shower and toilet facilities.

The Grass pitches are open from 1st April to the 1 October each year. These are suitable for campervans or motorhomes with awnings or those with roof tents. We don’t accept tents.

Static Caravan

The static caravan is a 2 bedroom static caravan which sleeps 4 people. 1 double room and 1 twin room.

It has a full kitchenette with full cooker and oven, cutlery, crockery, pans and utensils. There is seating area overlooking the site and the lake, each morning the sun rises, shining through the lounge window whilst you eat your breakfast. Wake up with a smile.

There is separate bathroom containing shower and toilet.

There is a minimum 3 night stay. Customers will have to provide their own bedding, duvets, pillows, towels and t-towels.
